I closed on a very special property yesterday.  I had the “I love my job day!”  I watched the buyer and seller share stories and points of interest.  One generation leaving a multi-generational property which would serve as a catalyst for their own legacy.  I pulled the sign and sighed.  I befriended the neighbors, shopped downtown, and grabbed a coffee from the local shop (very good by-the-way).  I would miss my time here.  I watched the neighbors interact with the new owner.  Share phone numbers, email addresses, and assurances, very heartfelt ones, that they “are there all of the time and would be happy to keep an eye on the place!”   All of these observations and interactions serve, once again, as a reminder of why I love Northern Michigan and our fabulous committees.

Truly a special place! Truly #PureMichigan!
